Our client located in Port Pirie specialises in lead-rich concentrates and smelting industry by-products nationwide with a commitment to innovation and excellence, we offer a stimulating work environment where talented individuals can thrive and contribute to meaningful projects.We are currently seeking multiple skilled Mechanical Fitter and Turner/ Lubrication Technicians to join our client's maintenance team in Port Pirie. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our machinery and equipment through proper lubrication practices.If you have a passion for mechanical systems, a keen eye for detail, and hands-on experience in lubrication, we want to hear from you!What's on offer:

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
  • Apply lubricants according to specifications and best practices to minimize friction and wear.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues related to lubrication.
  • Troubleshoot lubrication-related problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of lubrication schedules, usage, and maintenance activities.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
  • Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to apply lubricants accurately and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Safety-conscious mindset with a focus on adhering to safety protocols.
