Our service operates under the renowned Orygen EPPIC model, ensuring young people receive world-class early intervention treatment.Our program is structured into three core teams, working together to support young people at different stages of their recovery journey:
  • Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT)
  • Continuing Care Team
  • Functional Recovery Team
As a Consultant Psychologist, you’ll play a critical role in shaping treatment plans, supporting families, and ensuring positive outcomes for young people—all within a state-of-the-art, purpose-built space designed to enhance client care and team collaboration.About the Role
  • Location: ACT – headspace Early Psychosis
  • Part-time permanent
  • Salary: HPA Level 4 (commensurate with experience)

In this role, you’ll provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to clinicians while delivering evidence-based, youth-friendly psychotherapeutic interventions.Key Responsibilities✅ Supervise and guide clinicians in delivering effective psychotherapeutic interventions.
✅ Develop treatment plans and manage a small caseload of complex cases to ensure high-quality care.
✅ Facilitate training and professional development to enhance team skills and expertise.
✅ Contribute to clinical review, quality assurance, and research activities, shaping best-practice service delivery.
✅ Support a recovery-focused culture of hope and optimism for young people and their families.About You
  • Registered Psychologist with AHPRA, with Clinical Psychology endorsement.
  • Extensive experience in mental health, particularly with young people and first-episode psychosis.
  • Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills, with a passion for supervision and team development.
  • Commitment to professional development, research, and evidence-based practices.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
