Property/ Facilities/Grounds Maintenance

Our client has an urgent need for a contractor to lead the delivery of all Facilities Maintenance services within their designated group of buildings to a consistently high standard. You will have end to end financial accountability for Facilities & security in a designated group of 8 buildings, not more than 3 stories high as well as large grounds. You will deliver agreed Facilities, Proactive Services & Maintenance strategies to drive proactive, responsive and efficient services. You will be accountable for a safe site for everyone, everyday by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, improving safety and undertaking routine health checks to ensure compliance, safety and operational expectations are being met.
Suitable candidates will have experience in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running. You will be able to navigate complex work environments and teams to deliver outcomes and have strong facilities management experience. You will have effective stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Experience or knowledge of essential services or trades would be an advantage as well as experience in contract negotiation and management of facility maintenance services. Experience in security management would be an advantage but not essential.
