- Identify, qualify, develop and present propositions/solutions that meet the needs of the customers
- Work with Solution Architects, Customer Success Managers and Portfolio Managers to qualify opportunities, develop quotes and proposals, and close new business sales
- Deliver presentations internally and directly to prospects to position NEC's value proposition.
- Develop, manage and deliver accurate business documentation supporting short and long term sales forecasts and pipeline, in line with NEC business objectives.
- Develop, capture and maintain an extensive knowledge base and pipeline of all accounts including opportunity and win plans for the assigned territory and key pursuits
- Proven experience (5 years) Sales roles in relevant product or industry
- Proven experience in managing the large complex sales process (lead identification, qualification through to closure)
- Proven experience in meeting and overachieving targets.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the business (Executive through to Technical teams)
- Ability to influence others and present compelling proposals including the use of Territory and Win Plans.
- Strong knowledge and experience of the solutions (commercially/technically)
- Strong influencing / negotiation / persuasion skills
- Management of lengthy and complex sales cycles
- Ability to work closely and build relationships with other Sales and Solution Professionals in a collaborative and supportive manner
- Ability to professionally structure, present and close high value solutions offerings
- Strong analysis, planning and proposal development
- High level face-to-face presentation and oral/written communication
- Ability to work autonomously
