Redox have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Logistics and Supply Chain individual to join the team in Minto on a full-time permanent basis. As a Graduate Freight Coordinator you will play an integral role in the smooth and efficient coordination of all freight negotiations and freight procurement operations for Redox whilst being exposed to our wider business environment.The Position
  • Identify, evaluate and negotiate with freight providers to secure the best rates and service levels.
  • Develop and execute transportation procurement strategies to meet business needs and optimise costs.
  • Manage service agreements and agreed operational procedures with freight providers, ensuring compliance with company service expectations and legal requirements.
  • Provide advice on matters relating to road, rail or alternate domestic freight inquiries.
  • Monitor delivery requirements to conform to the company's expectations.
  • Co-ordinate and assist in the administration and maintenance of records and files for efficient and effective operations.
  • Action quality problems and attempt to resolve them to the best long-term interests of the company.
About you
  • Recent graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, with some experience or exposure to a logistics and freight related environment.
  • Understanding of CoR and Fatigue Management (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods Regulatory Handling and Storage legislation. (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and building reports.
  • Negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, be curious, present solutions and have attention to detail.
