Our new Business Plan is under development, making this is an exciting time to join our college team.Find out more about our school by visiting orThe RoleJohn Forrest SC is seeking an outstanding Media teacher who has a deep understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and a strong commitment to high-impact teaching practices that drive improved student outcomes.The successful applicant should be committed teaching Media courses across Year 7 to 12. The ability to teach Digital Technologies is also highly desirable.The successful applicant should believe in the potential of every student to succeed. They should use evidence-based, highly effective teaching strategies and display a commitment to continuous growth through reflective practice. The successful applicant should be skilled at providing differentiated and relevant learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs, strengths, and backgrounds of all students. Our media facilities include a TV studio with Blackmagic Studio cameras, a green screen, full studio lighting controls and two adjoining recording rooms with intercom. We have a switchboard setup for recording live productions, as well as podcasting equipment and a range of DSLR cameras.The successful applicant would join a progressive and collaborative Arts department, actively involved in implementing a whole-school approach to educational programs.
