In this new and exciting position, you will work as a Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. This highly social role has a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks.   • Week One: Monday 10am-2.10pm, Tuesday 12pm-4.10pm, Wednesady 12.30pm-5pm, Thursday 10am-4pm and Friday 10am-4pm.
  • Week Two: Wednesday 11.0-4.30pm, Thursday 9am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-2.30pm
No early mornings or late nights!Your Impact
  • Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g. driving them to appointments)
  • Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
  • Assist residents with their day-to-day routines in line with their current needs (e.g assist around their unit)
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
  • Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date

What you will bring
  • Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for independence and wellbeing
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
  • Valid drivers license + vehicle (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
