New opportunities have become available for highly skilled Registered Nurses to join the Acute Stroke Unit/Acute Medical Unit at a private hospital in Sydney.ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
Ensuring patient and staff safety;
Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Current registration with the AHPRA;
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
At least 1 year of experience in an Acute hospital setting experience is essential;
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused;
Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care;
Flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster - 12hr and 8hr shifts are offered.

REMUNERATION$35.46 - $49.79 per hour.ABOUT THE FACILITYThe hospital, located in Sydney, provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 488 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education center, a doctor's lounge, excellent staff facilities, a café, and car parking.
