Why not discover where we can go?Job DescriptionThe Data & Analytics (D&A) Business Partner (BP) supports the Senior Business Partner (SBP) - Information Delivery in the delivery of the Data and Analytics roadmap and information services.With the support of the SBP, this role is responsible for understanding the relevant business unit's strategy, stated and unstated customer information needs. This understanding is to be used to ensure that the relevant data, information delivery and analytics capabilities are available to support the businesses' customer and commercial objectives.They are responsible for Information Delivery services that currently mostly relate to the delivery of reports, some data development and, in the future, provision of analytics and insights.You will build and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to bring Data and Analytics to life for TAL. As risk is everyone's responsibility, you will be responsible for raising risks relating to the services you and the team provides and reduce controllable risks through the development and ongoing management of standard operating procedures for key information products.QualificationsQualification
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Commerce Business, Statistics, or a related discipline
Experience
  • 3 years+ experience working in Information Delivery (ID) teams and an understanding of ID platforms and tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx & Power BI
  • 3 year + experience in the development of analytics and actionable insights
  • Experience working with external data providers such as NMG, Roy Morgan and Retail Financial Intelligence.
  • Exposure to corporate environment and dealing with Senior Stakeholders and competitors
  • Life Insurance or Banking experience including knowledge of financial / actuarial valuation methods and processes
