You will be responsible for assessing and approving complex vehicle modifications, conducting vehicle inspections, and issuing special movement permits for vehicles that fall outside standard compliance. Your analytical skills will be essential in researching and developing policy, operational guidelines, and standards that shape vehicle safety and compliance across the state. Additionally, you will liaise with national and state stakeholders including the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (DITRDCA), vehicle manufacturers, and government bodies to ensure alignment with Australian Design Rules and relevant legislation.The attached Job Description Form (JDF) provides more information about the position.
