- As Project Director you will be responsible for the overall management of the QLD new build business and team members
- Maintaining an already enjoyable work environment whilst developing team members and processes.
- Overseeing and taking ownership with the bid teams to best position the business to win projects and delivery teams to ensure performance across all projects.
- Creating and managing short and long term financial goals for the business, reviewing and managing budgets accordingly with your teams.
- Continual project reviews to identify and improve delivery for clients and find opportunities beneficial to the business.
- Create processes or training to further develop teams and ability to facilitate or empower your leadership team to deliver accordingly..
- Growing and managing a successful team for continuous success.
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities whilst maintaining/growing other key relationships.
- Proven ability directly managing a team of Project Managers in a commercial construction business
- A stable track record in a similar management roles (construction manager / Senior Project Manager / Project Director)
- A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
- Strong software skills
- Experience both finding and developing talent
- An enthusiastic personality and genuine desire to lead a team with a positive approach to management
- Minimum of 5+ years in the commercial construction industry in an upper management role in Australia
- Ideal project delivery experience in new build projects across the commercial, retail, education, industrial and mixed use sectors for the head contractor
- $250,000 - $275,000 + Superannuation + Bonuses
