Day rate: $800 - $850 + GST per day depending on experience

Organisation:Work directly with a leading name in the Energy and Utilities sector. They are embarking on a Salesforce CPQ (Vlocity) implementation within Energy & Utilities Cloud. This is a high-impact greenfield program, leveraging modern CI/CD practices (Copado, Azure DevOps) and integrations with complex external systems.Role:As a Senior Salesforce CPQ / Vlocity (E&U Cloud) Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a greenfield CPQ implementation within Energy & Utilities Cloud.In this role, you will:

Work within a Salesforce Discovery environment, focusing on Vlocity CPQ custom development, data migration (Excel and migration tools), and building APIs to integrate Salesforce with external pricing engines and applications.
Collaborate closely with solution architects and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into tailored Salesforce Industries solutions.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions using Apex, Flows, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, OmniScripts, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures.
Lead data cleansing, migration, and transformation activities from legacy systems.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage version control using Copado, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
Ensure all solutions adhere to Salesforce and Vlocity best practices, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and enterprise-grade delivery.

You will have:

Vlocity CPQ implementation experience (3-5 years minimum).
5+ years Salesforce Development experience
Hands-on expertise across OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Procedures/Matrices).
Proven track record of API integrations (REST, SOAP, external pricing systems).
Strong CI/CD skills with Copado and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with Salesforce tools: Data Loader, Workbench, Inspector, VS Code.

OmniStudio Developer (Highly Advantageous)
Copado Fundamentals I & II (Highly Advantageous)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in greenfield Salesforce/Vlocity implementations.
Familiarity with Salesforce Industries Communications, Media & Energy (CME) package.
Strong background in enterprise-scale rollouts and deployment strategies.
Previous Utilities or complex billing/pricing engine integration experience highly desirable.
