- Safe and efficient operation of a backhoe for civil construction and maintenance tasks
- Trenching, digging, lifting, loading, and backfilling as required
- Assisting with site preparation and clean-up
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of the machine
- Working closely with ground crews to ensure smooth and safe workflow
- Following all WHS guidelines and site instructions to maintain a safe work environment
- Proven experience operating a backhoe (ticket not required)
- Current White Card – essential
- Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and site protocols
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
