Startdate: ASAPWorking with an organisation who has a heavy EBA environment, we are looking for a standalone payroll manager to own the payroll process. Located in the CBD, very close to public transport and offering a hybrid working model with 2 days working from home.We are looking to speak to candidates who have a good understanding and ability to interpret EBAs and has come from an EBA heavy environment or have previously held standalone payroll roles where they have had to own the department and make decisions based on their experience.The role:
- Standalone Payroll role, owning the process
- Working with a service provider in a partially outsourced model
- Assist with various implementations and support the project team running these
- High levels of EBA interpretation
- High levels of stakeholder engagement through queries and support
- Reporting and communication with the service provider
- Compliance and governance for the payroll department
- Previous experience using ADP would be desirable
- Previous experience in a standalone payroll position would be desirable
- True end to end experience including Workcover, redundancies, payroll tax and superannuation
- Good EBA interpretation skills and proven experience working in an EBA driven environment
- Great communication skills
- Have high levels of risk management and ability to make decisions in lieu of other payroll staff
- CBD location, close to public transport
