Holcim is currently looking for a Relief Production Supervisor, for their plant located at Heatherbrae. This role involves a mix of manual handling, logistics coordination, staff management and administration.Here is your opportunity to step into a role where you can grow & develop, with the world's leading sustainable building materials company.Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy operational environment. You would normally start work around 05:30am and there would be a requirement to work some Saturdays (as needed).Duties and responsibilities:

Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times
Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes
Allocating and assigning loads to drivers
Stock management and coordination of deliveries
Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance
Yard maintenance and front end loader operation
Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged products
Administration on a variety of computer software applications (training is provided on these)

Ideally, it would be great if you hold a current forklift ticket and have experience operating a front-end loader. However, we are more than happy to train & facilitate you obtaining these qualifications.Additionally, as the role will be supporting other plants within the region, it is essential that you have your own reliable vehicle. You will be paid an allowance per KM when you are required to travel outside your base plant location.Why join Holcim?

About you:

Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised,

Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused
Have effective communication skills and work under pressure
Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening
Essential you have a valid driver's licence & your own reliable vehicle to travel to other plants in the Sydney region as required
