- Ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the Front Office on a day-to-day basis, you are the face of our check in and check out experience, handling quest queries effortlessly.
- Prepare arrival and departure reservations in our hotel PMS, noting requests and loyalty status of our guests. Process payments for guest departure, including posting payments, processing EFTPOS transactions and preparing invoices.
- Ensure that all public and back of house areas are maintained to a high level of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation.
- Answer our phones with a smile and coordinate our guest’s needs such as restaurant bookings, transportation requirements and hotel services.
- Actively upsell and cross sell hotel services and outlets.
- Make coffee and prepare food within our hotel’s lobby café, Allie Lane
- Be a local Melbourne expert and engage with our guests sharing your knowledge on the city’s attractions, laneways, restaurants and bars.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills with a strong ability to multi-task
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to provide the best service for our guests
- Superior guest service skills along with excellent service resolution skills
- The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Experience in a guest relations or front office experience is advantageous.
