Customer Service ManagerWe are a well-established Australian owned family business based in the South-West that has been in the steel and Aluminium industry for over 60 years. Our customer base is rapidly growing, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to drive Customer Service & Order Management within our growing and dynamic team.The PositionReporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a small customer service team to deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience. This key leadership role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to continuous improvement, and a hands-on leadership style that fosters team development and performance.You will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining service standards and driving customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional reliability, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentThe Duties· Lead and support the Customer Service Team, whilst also managing the scheduling functions within the business· Ensure seamless daily operations across service delivery, administration and warehouse functions· Enable the Customer Service team to meet customer expectations on an ongoing basis and achieve personal Key Performance Indicators· Manage customer service inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner· Coordinate with Sales and Operations departments to ensure smooth service delivery· Assist in the training and on-going mentoring of the customer services team· Oversee invoicing and payment processes using custom internal software· Build and maintain Customer Service dashboards and reports to meet customer expectations as well as team performanceA Successful Candidate· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability· Strong leadership and team management skills· Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a changing environment· Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences· Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills· Superior customer service and ability to build rapport and working relationshipsWhat’s in it for you?· Collaborative and inclusive team culture· Supportive environment· No glass ceiling, grow through the business and continue to upskill!· Onsite free parking· A culture of celebrating achievements and recognising individual and team contributions to company successTo ApplyIf you are experienced in customer service and know you have what it takes to lead a passionate team of professionals, send your updated CV through to or call 07 5507 7759 for more information!
