The working environment encourages autonomy, initiative, and open communication, offering meaningful involvement across all facets of development.Role DetailsThis is an opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Development Manager to lead a portfolio of land and built-form projects. Reporting directly to the Development Director, the role encompasses full-lifecycle responsibilities across both internal developments and selected client-facing engagements.It’s well suited to someone confident in their judgement, energised by variety, and comfortable delivering in a lean, fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery: planning, approvals, design, sales, construction, and settlementsManage budgets, timelines, risks, and project reporting with minimal oversightDrive authority negotiations and lead consultant coordinationTackle complex delivery issues including legal, contractual, and construction-related mattersSupport external consulting projects where relevantMaintain robust forecasting and stakeholder communicationParticipate actively in shaping team culture and contributing to broader business initiativesKey Requirements6-10 years’ experience in property development, ideally on built-form projectsStrong track record managing multiple concurrent projects from feasibility to deliveryThorough understanding of Victorian planning frameworks; Queensland experience beneficial but not criticalSelf-directed, confident decision-maker with strong commercial instinctsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligenceComfortable in a flat structure, managing upwards and influencing senior stakeholdersBenefitsHybrid model: two designated office days per week, with remote flexibilityEngaged, collaborative team that values autonomy and deliveryOpportunity to work on significant residential and mixed-use projectsInvolvement in team offsites, social activities, and professional development initiativesHigh visibility role with access to senior decision-makers and strategic directionThis role ideal for experienced DM’s seeking a step up to a Senior DM role, or Senior DMs seeking a new challenge.
