Aboriginal people are encouraged to apply.Position Profile: We are seeking a suitably experienced and dynamic person to join us in the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office.The successful candidate will provide a professional level of secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer and Senior Nursing and Midwifery Officers, undertaking research as required within an environment of competing priorities and constant adjustment.Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage the diary appointments and meetings for the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence. Prioritising incoming and other confidential correspondence. Re-direct urgent calls and correspondence to appropriate Nursing and Midwifery Officers and coordinate a response as appropriate in the absence of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer.
- Anticipate the needs of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer in relation to forthcoming meetings and events and make appropriate advance arrangements
- Assist with the investigation research and responses to issues referred to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer for attention including briefing notes and Ministerials.
