- Develop and implement policy, procedures, guidelines for the installation, operation and management of security systems in accordance with the relevant legislation, Australian Standards and NSW Health Policy.
- Develop and implement standards, equipment specifications and plans for physical security infrastructure across NSW Ambulance.
- Manage a team that administers NSW Ambulance electronic access control systems databases.
- Provide support and working solutions to the Assets and Infrastructure Team for planned and reactive maintenance, facility upgrades and asset planning pertaining to physical security.
- Develop and administer effective physical security systems and integrate the approach with the broader organisation and NSW Health to protect people and assets.
- Experienced security professional with strong knowledge of electronic and physical security systems, including access control, alarms, CCTV, and security policies.
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and standards, and have a proven ability to develop and implement risk management strategies that protect people and property.
- Experienced with networked access control systems across multiple sites and are confident managing databases, issuing ID cards, and ensuring secure access.
- Advanced in using Microsoft Office and can collect, analyse, and report on security data to support audits and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading teams and delivering security programs in complex environments.
- You also understand asset management and are familiar with government and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Prossess an NSW Class 2A Security Consultant License.
