About the roleThe First Aid Trainer is responsible for the delivery and assessment of first aid courses on behalf of Australian Red Cross in accordance with required quality and compliance standards and for ensuring a positive end to end student experience.   • A professional communicator, adept at engaging others across a range of mediums (face to face, webinar, virtual, online, email)
  • Excellent presentation skills, promotes quality learning outcomes through professional, engaging, and meaningful interactions with students
  • Demonstrated current industry experience in a health or first aid environment
  • Organised, with strong administration and time management skills
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40122 or TAE40116 (or equivalent, meeting current training and assessing requirements).
A current Australian Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements for this role.DesirablePrior experience in delivering the specified accredited unit/s or course/s to a variety of clientele across a range of industries
  • Demonstrated understanding of ASQA compliance requirements
  • Relevant First Aid qualifications (HLTAD011 or higher desirable but not essential)
