95007135 kati.krsevan@dffh.vic.gov.auPosition DetailsTHE ROLEWorking in the Care Services unit within the Children and Families Division, this position will undertake a range of priority projects and initiatives, essential stakeholder management responsibilities and program and policy development to support children and young people residing in Care Services.The position will have program development responsibilities, require high level written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder engagement skills and ability to be responsive to tasks including the provision of high-level responses in a timely manner and will be required to contribute to a variety of work priorities within the unit.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on comprehensive research.
  • Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
  • Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
