Keen to have your afternoons & weekends free?Want to join a team who take as much pride in their work as you do?Looking for a company that cares about safety & your wellbeing?We're on the lookout for a reliable, switched-on Yard Supervisor & Delivery Driver to join our close-knit team in Eastgardens.Who are weWardle Construction is a medium sized, down to earth Residential Formwork company, specialising in Form/Reo/Pour packages for beautiful, architecturally designed, high-end residential projects in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.About the roleThis is not a sit-back-and-watch kind of role - we're looking for someone who thrives being hands-on, enjoys problem-solving on the go and takes ownership of how materials move across our high-end residential construction sites.What you'll be doing

Delivering materials to site using our Isuzu Hiab truck and Hino truck - unloading by hand or Hiab (no experience needed, we'll train you)
Loading trucks smartly, planning what goes where and in what order so deliveries flow smoothly
Coordinating next-day deliveries with our Operations Manager - ensuring everything gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be there
Owning the yard - tracking what's out on site, checking tools and materials as they return, reporting damage or missing gear
Planning and problem-solving - deciding which truck to use, what order deliveries should be in and how to get the most out of your day
Vehicle maintenance - undertake pre-start checks, basic maintenance for delivery vehicles and Hiab crane and report issues to be dealt with

What you'll need

Forklift licence (LF) - essential
MR Truck Licence - essential
Basic mechanical maintenance aptitude
A solid level of physical fitness - you'll be on your feet, lifting, loading and hands-on daily - fitness is a job perk!
A great attitude - ready to get stuck in, take initiative and work closely with our team
Strong communication - you'll work directly with the Ops Manager and site crew
Adaptability - rapidly change plans as needed to meet changing site or project priorities
