This role combines workshop and field service work, offering a dynamic and varied environment.Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
Conducting repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel engines, heavy machinery, and fleet vehicles
Attending client sites as required (on a rotating on-call roster) to diagnose and resolve breakdowns
Accurately troubleshooting and fixing mechanical faults using industry best practices
Following WHS standards and contributing to a clean and safe work environment
About YouThe successful candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic
A current manual driver’s licence (MR/HR licence desirable)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Trade qualifications in heavy vehicle mechanics
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Great time management and self-motivation
