JBS Southern processing facilities have access to all major international markets, providing our livestock suppliers with a range of markets and brand opportunities.About the role:JBS are seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Fitter weekend shift in Brooklyn. We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
The implementation of preventative maintenance.

About you:

Have a fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Available to work a Weekend Shift, Thursday to Sunday 4am to 2.30pm
Understand work planning and scheduling procedures
Be available for shift work where required
Have reliable transport and license
Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination.
