  • Client Interface: Be the primary point of contact for Turner & Townsend cost management clients, ensuring strong relationships and service excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cost management team leaders, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Training & Compliance: Ensure all team members have current, relevant training and adhere to SOX controls and company management systems.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee timely, high-quality delivery of cost management outputs, including review and sign-off of all management information.
  • Market Knowledge: Apply deep experience in the Australian construction market to guide project and team success.
  • Business Development: Drive client acquisition and retention through effective tender management and business development strategies.
Qualifications
  • Industry Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the infrastructure sector.
  • Sector Expertise: Strong background in aviation, rail or power & utilities projects.
  • Strategic Insight: Proven ability to implement growth strategies aligned with local market dynamics.
  • Professional Credentials: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar; additional accreditations (e.g. RICS, AIQS, CIOB, APM) are advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in estimating software such as CostX, Expert Estimator or equivalent.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and verbal English skills, with a track record of producing high-quality reports and leading high-performing teams.
