- Provide excellent clinical assessment and therapy for patients in the sub-acute team based at the Royal Park Campus.

- Part time to December 2024 leave cover (20hours/week)
- Part time to October 2024 Community Therapy Service (24hours/week)

- The sub-acute leave cover role works across a variety of inpatient wards (geriatric evaluation and management, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation) and community therapy services (outpatients).
- The role in Community therapy service has a focus on people with musculoskeletal conditions (pain management and amputee rehabilitation)
- You provide high standard, evidence based and patient centred care including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning for patients in sub-acute services.
- You provide individual and group occupational therapy service to patients across various modalities including home, centre based and telehealth.
- Supervise and educate junior occupational therapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapy students
- Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership
- Enjoy a career structure which develops specialist clinical, research, education, and leadership skills for Allied Health.
- You have hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
- You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to providing evidence-based practice
- You value working with supportive and dedicated Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
