We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Architect to design and implement our standard data architecture. You will be instrumental in building a robust, scalable, and secure data ecosystem that drives business intelligence and advanced analytics.If you are a visionary architect with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end data solutions, we want to hear from you.Your Role and Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of our core data architecture, including our Data Lake and analytics platform.
Utilise Databricks to build scalable data pipelines, manage data workflows, and enable advanced analytics and machine learning.
Oversee the development of our business intelligence layer, ensuring data is accurately and efficiently visualised using Power BI.
Leverage AWS services for data ingestion, storage, processing, and governance.
Ensure the data architecture is optimised for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience designing and implementing a modern data architecture.
Deep expertise with Databricks for data engineering and analytics.
Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards and reports with Power BI.
Extensive, hands-on experience with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and data modeling.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Highly desirable: Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics capabilities.
