The House Manager ensures the smooth operation of a private residence by providing high-level personal service and household management. This professional and discreet individual is the primary contact for household staff, guests, and tradespeople whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and discretion. Key Responsibilities in this role include:
- Provide personalised service, including guest reception, formal dining, wine service, and personal errands.
- Manage day-to-day household operations, upkeep, and inventory of supplies.
- Plan and coordinate private events, guest arrangements, and service delivery.
- Liaise with external service providers such as caterers, florists, and entertainers.
- Oversee household schedules, travel plans, and administrative records.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury hospitality environment. You will process excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong organisational and time management abilities. Presenting yourself professionally in appearance and demeanor is essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be available to travel with the family on occasions is required.Next steps
