- Managing Bid Program and Deliverables, establishing organisational best practices for bid program management
- Guide leadership on strategic priorities for key bids, anticipate and mitigate complex challenges in the bid process
- Develop tools and frameworks to enhance bid quality and consistency, provide mentorship to teams on managing highly complex bid programs
- Ensure approval workflows are followed accurately and efficiently
- Incorporate analysis of project commercial model and risks into strategic decision-making processes
- Negotiate consultant agreements and evaluate performance throughout the tender
- Identify commercial risks, ensure due diligence is undertaken and develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain and update business strategies identifying the opportunities most aligned with company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage the preparations of all tenders for future waste to energy opportunities with both public and private sector clients
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience within the waste to energy industry with at least 5 years of those being in senior management positions with responsibilities for business development.
- In-depth knowledge of waste-to-energy processes, technologies and renewable energy
- Detailed knowledge of WTE business financials and models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment collaborating effectively with diverse teams as well as being able to operate independently, demonstrating strong self-management and accountability
