The Mental Health Branch is part of the Health System Support and Performance Executive (HSSPE) within the NSW Ministry of Health. We are the Strategy Coordination team to provide HR, ICT, administrative, and financial support to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively.

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Support Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Mental Health Branch. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the branch, including meeting coordination, HR and ICT support, and general administrative tasks.Classification: Crown Clerk Grade 3/4
Salary Range: Starting from $84,659 - $92,701 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Hours: 35-hour work week

- Deliver a broad range of administrative services including records management, purchasing, correspondence, meeting preparation, and data entry.
- Manage branch ICT equipment and assist staff with ICT-related enquiries.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment processes.
- Assist with travel bookings, cab charge requests, and catering orders.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Principal Officer and other branch staff.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the success of the Mental Health Branch. You will bring:
- A Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar), or substantial experience in administrative support roles.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Initiative and sound judgement in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to customer service.
