- New business development - Identify, target, and secure high-value opportunities within the education sector.
- Lead and close complex enterprise-level deals - including multi-year contracts and cross-portfolio solution sales.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline - through direct outreach, networking, industry events, and targeted campaigns.
- Act as an executive sponsor for major accounts, ensuring Civica delivers against client strategic objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally - working with marketing, product, and delivery teams to execute go-to-market strategies that drive both retention and acquisition.
- Track and report performance - against sales targets, pipeline health, and emerging market trends.
- Knowledge & Application - Deep understanding of enterprise software sales, education technology market.
- Complexity & Problem Solving - Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, multi stakeholder environments, and long-term account planning.
- Collaboration & Interaction - Strong cross functional leadership, influencing skills, and ability to build trusted C suite relationships.
- Proven track record in both new business acquisition and strategic account growth within SaaS and enterprise solutions.
- Executive level presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate complex solutions into compelling value propositions for senior decision makers.
