Employees are empowered through development programs, cross-functional exposure, and the support of a diverse and motivated team.Job DescriptionOwn procurement responsibilities for indirect categories across Australia and New Zealand.Act as the primary APAC liaison for regional and global stakeholders regarding category strategies.Lead local and regional contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring alignment with global procurement initiatives.Develop and deploy sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency, supplier performance, and supply assurance.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that drive value through quality, innovation, and sustainability.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and act as a trusted strategic advisor.Support the implementation and adoption of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system across the region.Coordinate regional execution of global agreements while driving additional local pricing and service value.Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement operations and vendor performance management.Provide tactical support for day-to-day procurement activities and vendor escalations.The Successful ApplicantBrings a minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement or category management, preferably within indirects.Demonstrates strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing end-to-end sourcing.Displays excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of building trusted relationships across stakeholders and suppliers.Comfortable working in complex, matrixed environments and collaborating across global teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and procurement initiatives.Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and high learning agility.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite & procurement systems is advantageous.What's on OfferThis role offers a rare opportunity to join a high-performing, globally connected organisation that invests in its people through ongoing career development and international mobility pathways.
