This is an amazing opportunity with an well established and reputable firm that has decades of experience providing expert financial advice and services. With over 40 years of experience in the market they have seen exceptional growth delivering value to clients powered by impressive industry leading professionals. The firms has 3 service areas including Wealth Management, Mortgage & Finance Broking and Advisory and Tax.They are now looking for an experienced and passionate Tax Senior Manager/Director to join the team and manage a team of 2 staff onshore and 3-4 offshore. In this role you will be mainly working on the tax compliance and advisory piece for HNWIs who come from the firm's financial planning arm of the business. You will be managing your own client portfolio, be the forefront of client engagements and ensure the values of the business are delivered across tax engagements. There is also the opportunity to support the Director with the client base in business services team who come from a broad range of industries including large multinational corporations in manufacturing, mining, and real estate.Key responsibilities include:

Lead and manage the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services
Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, including tax planning, tax structuring, and tax risk management
Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, business activity statements, and other tax-related documents
Collaborate with clients, accountants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient tax compliance
Mentor and develop junior members of the tax advisory team
Contribute to the growth and development of the tax advisory practice through business development and leadership activities

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with at least 8 years of experience in a public practice firm with extensive knowledge in Australian tax advisory and compliance requirements. As an individual you will be a strong problem solver and have high analytical skills. To be successful it is imperative you have excellent communication skills, great client relationship management and experience leading and mentoring a team.
