Our teams are based in key mining regions across Australia, India, Africa, North and South America.About the RoleIn this role you will be accountable for two headline areas, the leadership of all Dense Media Separation (DMS) Plant business and associated activities across Mineral Technologies globally, and the leadership of all metallurgical testwork operations and associated metallurgical consulting work for Western Australia customers. This role works closely with Business Development, Met Services, and the Engineering & Projects group.Key Accountabilities are:

Lead and drive DMS Plant business across Mineral Technologies globally.
Lead all Metallurgical testwork in WA including Mineral Technologies Equipment and DMS testwork from our testwork facility in Perth.
Build technical, commercial, and operational knowledge and understanding of DMS Plants across Mineral Technologies.
DMS Plant Delivery, Commissioning and Customer Support leadership. Work with Mineral Technologies partners and the Engineering & Projects group to manage the delivery of DMS Plants as per contractual requirements with our customers.
Build and develop effective teams to deliver the business growth strategy including lead and cultivate collaboration and cross department working with special reference to Business Development, Regional Managers, Equipment delivery, Engineering & Projects, and Carrara Metallurgical Services.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Process Engineering with process / metallurgical aptitude.
Business development / commercial qualifications preferable
Minimum of 15 years' experience in mineral processing markets with special reference to Dense Media Separation in iron ore and lithium as a minimum. Experience in and exposure to Dense Media Separation Plants in iron ore and lithium is mandatory.
Demonstrate experience in supporting and leading the winning and execution of DMS and associated mineral processing plant contracts.
A solid understanding of metallurgical laboratory operational management in the mineral processing sector. Must have extensive experience in DMS testwork and metallurgical analytics in iron ore and lithium applications.
Project BD experience in mineral processing technology / plant sector with special reference to Modular DMS Processing Plants.
Must be results driven, exhibit commercial astuteness, and have well developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
