ASX listed and delivering world-class performance, we have operational bases in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Perth and Adelaide.What's the role on offer?Based onsite at the Alliance Airlines facilities, the Trades Assistant plays a critical role in supporting aircraft and component maintenance personnel to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Assist maintenance personnel with the efficient and economical performance of assigned duties, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation Exposition Policies and Procedures.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company Safety and Security Policy & Procedures, ensuring all actions adhere to applicable regulations and company standards.
Promote and uphold a high standard of quality, safety, and security compliance, as outlined in the Alliance Airlines Company Safety Manual.
Support the safety and security reporting processes within the eSMS framework, encouraging active participation from all staff.
Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental regulations in accordance with state law, promoting a safe and secure work environment for all personnel.

This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety, security, and operational excellence while supporting the overarching goals of the maintenance team.What’s in it for me?

Who we are looking for:Our ideal candidate will have a background in the Aviation Maintenance Environment and be eager to contribute to a dynamic team. You will be a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a willingness to carry out tasks as instructed. Ideally, you will bring:

Sound knowledge of the Aviation Maintenance Environment (desired)
High School Graduation Certificate (desired)
Industry work experience (desirable)
Initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing work
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
