
Principal Technical Lead - Workload automation

Principal level experience with Control-M is a must as well as Senior level experience in ESP Workload Automation and TWS/IWS.The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Design, building and implementing technical solutions for Control-M, ESP and TWS/IWS, aligning to the Batch strategic roadmap
- Provide expert level support for major incidents which impact the availability of the batch tools
- Provide hands-on support for upgrading, patching and configuring the batch scheduler tools
- Management of agent upgrade, patches and certificate renewals
- Design, build and implementation of automation for managing the batch tools, agents and certificates
- Support, maintain and improve the batch architecture in line with business requirements.
- Manage batch scheduling processes and standards, which are to be adhered to by batch developers.
- Liaise with batch designers and developers to support them in delivering optimal batch flow solutions.
- Technical leadership in migrating scheduling tools to new infrastructure and/or in converting schedules to Westpac's strategic scheduling tool.
- Extensive IT industry experience with at least 10 years in a highly technical role relating to Batch.
- Extensive experience in supporting and maintaining Control-M.
- Senior level experience in supporting and maintaining ESP Workload Automation and TWS/IWS
- Extensive experience with Batch Operations and Batch Scheduling.
- Strategic thinking who can drive forward the strategic roadmap for Batch
- Extensive experience with both mainframe and midrange hosting environments.
- Expert analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting and consultative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A tertiary qualification in IT is highly desirable.
