We are hiring a vigilant and dependable Asset Protection Specialist to help safeguard company assets, reduce shrinkage, and ensure a safe working and shopping environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of integrity, observational skills, and knowledge of loss prevention strategies.Key Responsibilities:Monitor store premises and surveillance systems to detect and prevent theft, fraud, and suspicious behaviorConduct investigations and interviews in cases of internal or external theftCollaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel when necessaryAssist in conducting regular audits, inventory counts, and safety inspectionsSupport loss prevention initiatives and train staff on company policies and theft deterrenceEnforce security protocols and ensure emergency procedures are followedWrite detailed reports on incidents, losses, and recovery effortsSupport the Asset Protection Manager in implementing and maintaining security systems and proceduresPromote a safe and secure environment for employees and customersRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or bachelors degree preferred)12 years of experience in asset protection, retail security, or loss preventionStrong observational, communication, and reporting skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisionsKnowledge of CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident reportingFamiliarity with relevant security and safety regulationsMust be physically fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods
