- Lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of comprehensive construction schedules in Primavera P6, covering all site activities from installation to commissioning.
- Oversee resource loading and progress tracking, ensuring alignment with project milestones, contractual commitments, and budgets.
- Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to align schedules and manage interfaces, risks, and dependencies.
- Provide leadership to site scheduling teams, guiding schedule updates, look-ahead planning, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report on schedule performance, identifying deviations early and recommending recovery actions.
- Facilitate communication of schedule status, critical path, and interface risks to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Review subcontractor schedules, progress reports, and ensure alignment with overall project plans.
- Support schedule forecasting and contingency planning to maintain project timelines.
- Act as a strategic partner to construction teams, project managers, and stakeholders, fostering a schedule-focused culture.
- Engineering degree in Civil or Mechanical disciplines; Project Management qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in senior planning or scheduling roles within large-scale hydropower, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- At least 5+ years as a Lead Scheduler in complex construction environments.
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, and SAP (preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of hydro-power equipment installation and commissioning is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary planning teams.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and work effectively under pressure.
