The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.PURPOSEThe Information Security Operations Manager is on the front line of protecting a SITA's assets from threats. The role ensures IT systems and processes comply to security policies and that security incidents are detected and managed.The role is in the Operations team and is concerned with IT systems local to Sydney. Knowledge on security policies and technologies will be provided by the Enterprise Information Security Office.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain all required security audit records and present these to auditors.
Lead investigations into local security incidents.
Ensure local security systems are effectively configured to detect and block threats.
Ensure vulnerability management is performed as per contractual requirements.
Review requests for change from security perspective and provide advice to Change Management Board.
Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the local systems to ensure they comply with security policies.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE

Three to five years of industry experience in an information security function.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Solid technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practises and standards is required.
Experience in using SEIM, vulnerability management, intrusion detection and other security systems.
Excellent documentation and communications skills are essential.

PROFESSION COMPETENCIES

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM – Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) will be well regarded

CORE COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of the Australian Governments Information Security Manual.
Knowledge in information security and cyber security standards, frameworks, and code of practices such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
