Due to the nature of position, some local and interstate travel may be required.Job DescriptionWe are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Project Manager. This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.Position responsibilities will include:
  • Managing automation, consulting, and engineering service projects
  • Monitoring and reporting the status of managed projects and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
  • Supporting process improvements and developing project management services
  • Supporting project acquisitions
  • Monitoring and managing allocated project cost to maintain within budget.
  • Supporting customer site visits to promote BAMS activities.
  • Maintaining quality and document recording systems
  • Project risk management including identification, monitoring, and mitigation.
  • Supplier engagement and management
QualificationsWe are looking for a dynamic Project Manager with a passion for ownership and leadership, who possesses the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse and sometimes complex tasks and priorities, establish effective relationships, and coach and inspire the project team.To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Relevant Engineering degree or experience working in industries such as automation, robotics, manufacturing, or machine build.
  • PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner level accreditation / PMP is highly desirable.
  • Sound experience in project management of technical engineering projects
  • Experience with special purpose machinery and setup of manufacturing sites highly regarded.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) in manufacturing
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, risk and time management
  • A natural leader with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project experience desirable)
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
