We are an organisation that enjoys consistent and rapid growth, offering our employees secure employment, career progression and a safe work environment that encourages and brings out the best in our people.Your new roleReporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Gladstone Branch, we are looking for a Trade Assistant, General Hand, Building Maintenance, who is a good team player with a customer centric attitude to join our team and support branch hire activities in the hire yard.Duties include but are not limited to

Operate large forklifts to load and unload materials and buildings
Prepare, clean, and pack hire buildings to required standards
Process paperwork for installation and return of hire assets
Conduct stocktakes of assets as required
Handle customer service requests promptly and professionally
Prepare hire buildings for transit and delivery
Unpack, test, and clean ancillary equipment returned from hire.

What you will bring to the role

Building maintenance & repair experience
Forklift license & large forklift operation
Open Driver’s License & White Card
Strong customer service, communication & interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with solid numeric skills
Team player with ability to work independently
