What's the role?We’re looking for a strategic and driven Sponsorships Manager to join our dynamic Client Marketing team at News Corp Australia. In this role, you'll take ownership of sponsorships end-to-end—from identifying the right opportunities and negotiating contracts to delivering standout activations and reporting on results. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll ensure News Corp Australia shows up with purpose and impact across key industry platforms.About the role:Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of strategic sponsorship opportunities aligned with brand and commercial goalsDevelop and manage an annual sponsorship calendar in collaboration with key stakeholdersBuild compelling business cases for sponsorships, including target audience insights, ROI projections, and cost analysisNegotiate sponsorship contracts to secure maximum value and brand visibilityOversee the end-to-end delivery of sponsorships—from briefing and branding to event presence and stakeholder alignmentPartner with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and amplification across owned and earned channelsDevelop detailed post-event reports, measure performance, and recommend improvements for future sponsorshipsWho are you?A marketing professional with 5+ years' experience in trade marketing, partnerships, or sponsorships—preferably in media or advertisingProven track record managing external sponsorships and activations that drive measurable outcomesStrong project manager with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlinesSkilled negotiator and communicator—comfortable presenting to senior leaders and representing the business externallyAble to balance stakeholder needs across sales, editorial, brand and commercial teams with strategic agilityConfident managing vendor relationships, activation teams, and live event logisticsA collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance culture and takes initiative to drive results.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
