Are you looking to start your career in early childhood education?Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team!As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside experienced educators in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of engaging, fun, and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years, helping them build essential skills for their future.You will also undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, where you’ll learn the key skills needed to become a qualified educator.The position offers on-the-job training, professional development, and the opportunity to work in a well-established and respected team.Reporting to the Centre Director, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs for young children
Support the emotional, social, and physical development of children
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with other educators and staff members
Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
Contribute to building strong relationships with families

Qualifications, skills & experience

Completion of Higher School Certificate
Commitment to complete the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
Working with Children clearance number
Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work in a diverse team environment

Salary for this position is as per the Award
