They specialise in delivering reliable geotechnical investigations, foundation and earthworks design, slope stability assessments, and site classifications for a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from residential subdivisions to major transport infrastructure.ABOUT THE POSITION.We are seeking a motivated and skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join their experienced team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, applying both field and office-based geotechnical engineering practices. The role offers strong career development potential with support from senior engineers and industry-recognised mentors.DUTIES.

Plan, manage and execute geotechnical site investigations across NSW
Analyse soil and rock samples, and interpret field and laboratory test data
Prepare factual and interpretive geotechnical reports and recommendations
Assist in foundation and pavement design, slope stability analysis, retaining wall design, and other geotechnical aspects
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Conduct construction phase services, including inspections and advice during earthworks and foundation installation
Ensure work is compliant with Australian Standards, project requirements, and company quality systems

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline (required)
Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering (preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
Proficient in software such as gINT, SLIDE, PLAXIS, SLOPE/W (desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
