  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and inventory planning.
  • Analyse historical data, market trends, and customer insights to refine planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability aligns with business needs.
  • Monitor and report on stock levels, identifying and addressing potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to understand promotions and product launches.
  • Review and improve demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimisation and cost reduction.
  • Maintain and manage key demand planning tools and systems.
The Successful ApplicantA successful Demand Planner should have:
  • Relevant qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in demand planning within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • A strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations.
