UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people.What's the role?As a Senior Solution Designer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions across online and staff-facing channels, helping us become Australia's No. 1 bank.Key Responsibilities

Develop solution designs and interface contracts aligned with domain and project architecture.
Deliver customer servicing and originations technology across multiple platforms and brands.
Provide expert technical and domain guidance across development, support, testing, and enhancements.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Work with tools such as Swagger/Open API, Tomcat, IDEA, Eclipse, Postman, SonarQube, and Splunk.
Apply strong understanding of API & REST principles in an Agile development environment.

What do I need?

Proven experience in mid-to-senior level IT roles, with a strong background in systems development, support and maintenance.
Deep knowledge of solution architecture, system design and contemporary IT practices.
Ability to quickly grasp the functions and capabilities of emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of financial services environments, including relevant applications and products.
Hands-on experience in systems integration and working within Agile development environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills.
Proficiency in API and REST API principles, with practical experience using tools such as:

Swagger/Open API
Tomcat
IDEA / Eclipse
Postman
SonarQube
Splunk
Effective supplier relationship management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
