You will be expected to leverage your expertise in automation tools like Python, Ansible, and Git to develop solutions that improve network efficiency, scalability, and security.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python and Ansible to improve network management, monitoring, and incident response.
- Work closely with security teams to ensure that network automation strategies are aligned with the latest security protocols and best practices.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of network infrastructure changes, including routing and switching configurations.
- Integrate DDoS mitigation solutions and assist in ensuring high availability and network resilience (ideal but not required).
- Maintain and improve version control systems, particularly with Git.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and security issues as they arise.
- Strong experience with Python and Ansible for network automation tasks.
- Proficiency in Git and working with version control systems.
- Experience with routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, etc.).
- knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls and perimeter network architectures.
- Familiarity with software-defined networking overlays such as VXLAN EVPN or VMware NSX is a plus.
