- Leading and supporting the Primary School Leadership Team to provide clear accountability and strategic direction aligned with the College’s Christian ethos.
- Overseeing the recruitment, performance management, and professional development of all Primary School teaching and support staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Monitoring and promoting student academic progress, wellbeing, and behaviour, implementing pastoral care strategies that foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Managing and coordinating key R-6 school events such as graduation ceremonies, parent-teacher nights, sports days, and special celebrations, either directly or through delegation.
- Participating actively in the enrolment process, including interviewing prospective families to assess fit and supporting enrolment decisions.
- Leading spiritual formation within the Primary School through devotions, chapel services, and collaboration with chaplaincy staff to embed Christian values across all programs.
- Maintaining clear, timely communication with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to foster transparency, collaboration, and a positive school culture.
- Keeping abreast of current educational research and best practices, particularly in literacy and numeracy, to inform curriculum and teaching strategies.
- A sincere and active faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrated through involvement in a local church community.
- A strong passion for Christian education, with a commitment to integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum, pedagogy, and professional relationships.
- Registered teacher with at least five years of classroom teaching experience.
- Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RHHAN-EC) certificate.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- Valid Teachers Registration in South Australia (SA).
- At least two years of leadership experience within an educational setting.
