  • If full time: $67,642 pa (including allowances) + 12% super (level 3)

  • Location: Caboolture Depot and working at sites across our region
Join City of Moreton Bay as a Labourer Operations - Stockpile Sites and Recycling Material Recycling, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.In this role you'll be monitoring machinery, maintaining exclusion zones and actively managing the safety of plant and truck movements across the site. You'll also be monitoring material quality, screening and crushing activities. Other activities include:
  • Performing pre-operational checks on plant and machinery
  • Maintain safety and environmental controls across the site and monitor potential environmental impacts
  • Assisting in the relocation of plant and machinery
  • Correctly using and maintaining plant and equipment, including all PPE, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and council's safety policy and procedures
  • Participating in environmental and infrastructure maintenance of Operational and Localised Stockpile Sites.
About youBring your experience monitoring environmental impact of stockpiling and recycling activities, and providing on ground support to plant and machinery. You'll also have:
  • Ability to communicate, both in written and verbal form, to engage constructively with colleagues, residents and ratepayers across on site.
  • Experience in undertaking a range of manual operational tasks, focused on safety
  • Ability to learn and adapt to a range of emerging technology solutions as they apply to the requirements of this position
  • Current MR class driver's licence (desirable)
  • Construction Induction Card competency (or willing to obtain).
